Suri: The Seventh Note launches on PlayStation 5 on October 30, 2026. Developed by Tathvamasi Studios, this hand-drawn rhythm platformer mixes precise movement with music inspired by Indian traditions.
The developer confirmed the date and explained the game’s musical design in an official PlayStation Blog post. The game is also listed on the PlayStation Store.
A platformer where rhythm changes everything
Players guide Ajira through a fantasy island filled with hazards, hidden routes, and movement challenges. Actions are tied to the beat, so learning the music is part of mastering each stage. New abilities gradually open up more ways to navigate the world.
Tathvamasi says its Rhythm Haptics Engine uses the DualSense controller’s feedback to make the music felt as well as heard. The team settled on a rhythm interval of about 480 milliseconds between main beats, balancing reaction time with a brisk sense of movement.
A world influenced by Indian art and sound
The studio drew inspiration from Rajput forts, Theyyam culture, Himalayan monasteries, and other traditions when creating the game’s environments. Its music incorporates regional instruments and percussion, often recorded rather than synthesized.
The result is a game aiming to connect its distinctive setting with the way players move, rather than treating the soundtrack as decoration.
Standard and Digital Deluxe editions
The Standard Edition includes the base game. The Digital Deluxe Edition adds a Chandini skin and DLC, and was offered with three days of early access. The developer says the exclusive skin and DLC will not be sold separately.
Suri: The Seventh Note is part of PlayStation’s India Hero Project, which supports game development in India. For players who like mastering a difficult platformer one attempt at a time, its rhythm-first approach offers something different to try.
