Fortnite Treasure Hunters begins November 1, 2026, bringing an 80-player island, One Piece powers, and a changing lineup of captains. Epic Games shared the full details on October 30, giving players a clearer picture of the upcoming season after earlier teasers.

The new information goes well beyond the crossover teaser. Epic’s official season reveal confirms the island, Battle Pass characters, shop timing and recurring events.

Crossbones Isle and One Piece abilities

The new Battle Royale setting is Crossbones Isle, built for 80 players. Players can visit recognizable One Piece-inspired places including Arlong Park and Windmill Village, and launch themselves around the island using cannons.

The crossover also brings combat abilities tied to One Piece characters, including Luffy’s Gum-Gum Fruit and Zoro’s Three Sword Style. The Battle Pass features Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin, while Luffy, Nami and Usopp arrive in the shop at the start of the season.

A new captain each week

The Straw Hats and A$AP Rocky lead the first wave, with Lil Uzi Vert, Cap’n Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto taking their turns later. Each captain brings a crew and a point of interest, so parts of the island will change as the season continues.

Players can also board A$AP Rocky’s battleship, the $.$. Rocky, and use its Shock Rocket ability. New Captain’s Days will add weapons, Sprites and more to Battle Royale, beginning November 1 at 9 a.m. Eastern.

What’s happening on December 5?

Epic is teasing an enormous chest belonging to Captain X and a Chapter 7 end event on December 5. The company has not revealed everything about the chest, so its contents remain a mystery for now.

Treasure Hunters looks set to give fans more than outfits to collect, with a changing map and new tools to experiment with. For players following the One Piece collaboration, the October 30 announcement finally shows how it will affect matches.
